— Bank transfer (only for customers resident in Italy).
— PostePay recharge (only for customers resident in Italy).

Do the prices include VAT?
All prices displayed on our website include Italian VAT (22%) for customers within the European Union. For customers outside the EU, VAT will not be applied at checkout, but local import duties may apply upon delivery.
Craftsmanship & Materials
Why is thread stitching better?
Thread stitching follows the natural elasticity of the fabric, distributing tension evenly. This prevents breakage at stress points (collar, cuffs, vents) and guarantees 2–3 times greater durability compared to standard industrial stitching.
How do you recognise thread stitching?
Look at the back of the collar or the side vents: thread stitching has a slightly irregular but extremely compact appearance, with no skipped stitches. To the touch, it feels softer and more flexible.
Is Canclini inferior to Thomas Mason or Albini?
No. All three belong to the narrow global elite of high-end shirting fabrics. The difference is one of philosophy, not quality:
Thomas Mason – formal rigour, compact yarns, British tradition. Ideal for the impeccable office shirt.
Canclini – king of softness and luxury casual. Excels in silky finishes, washed fabrics, flannels and smart-casual linens.
Albini – Europe's largest producer, maximum variety: from classic poplin to the Giza 45 and David & John Anderson lines.
How long does a Nicolas Rota shirt last?
With proper care (gentle washing, natural drying), our shirts maintain their shape and colour for 5–10 years of regular wear. We have customers who have been wearing the same shirts for over 7 years.
How should I iron a Nicolas Rota shirt?
Iron your shirt while slightly damp, using a medium heat setting. Begin with the collar (both sides), then the cuffs, sleeves, and finally the body. Avoid ironing directly over buttons. For delicate fabrics such as linen or flannel, use a pressing cloth to protect the fibres.
Do you use sustainable materials?
We are committed to responsible sourcing. Our fabrics — from Canclini, Thomas Mason, and Albini — are produced by mills with long-standing ethical and environmental standards. We favour natural fibres (cotton, linen) and work with a small, trusted network of Italian artisans to minimise waste and support local craftsmanship.
Are your shirts entirely made in Italy?
Yes. Every Nicolas Rota shirt is entirely handcrafted in Italy by our team of skilled artisans. From cutting to the final stitch, the entire production process takes place in Italy — this is the foundation of our quality and our identity.
