Unlike current luxury brands, which have moved their production to the outskirts of the world, sacrificing the quality of their products (also due to the use of mediocre materials), NICOLAS ROTA has chosen to keep the entire production chain within Italian borders.
Each garment is made by Italian professionals in a few selected artisan workshops located in different regions of Italy, each specialized in a particular process:
The highly prized Como and Venetian silks are woven with techniques handed down from generation to generation; the highly prized Biella wools are spun using traditional techniques; the highly prized Tuscan and Venetian leathers are expertly produced by skilled tanners; the highly prized Lombard cottons are expertly crafted in world-famous cotton mills.
Skilled artisan seamstresses, with decades of experience in high fashion, cut and sew following the ancient traditions inherited from their grandmothers; skilled knitters create fine knitwear with rare yarns (cashmere), using manufacturing techniques that enhance softness and wearability; skilled artisan shoemakers produce fine footwear in the Marche district, modeling leather with passion and precision as was done in the past.
