ABOUT ME:

Although my academic path developed in the humanities, an increasingly keen interest in clothing and fashion has germinated in me over the years. An attraction nourished by professional needs in marketing, by the search for an elegant and sober personal style, but above all, by a precious genetic inheritance.

In fact, I can confirm that I received this passion as a gift from my ancestors because if my maternal grandmother's brother and sister (including my uncles) took great care of their appearance, it is above all from my paternal grandfather that I learned meticulous attention to the smallest details. From all of them I inherited good taste in dressing, a love of elegance and a keen interest in fashion.

Born at the dawn of the twentieth century into a family of humble origins, my grandfather always took care of his appearance meticulously, dressing with cleanliness, order and elegance in every phase of his life. His presence in public was always impeccable: the few hairs perfectly in order, a careful shave, his person clean and pleasantly perfumed. Years later, I am still reminded of his insistence in asking my grandmother to check that no hair had accidentally fallen on the jacket, the comb that he always carried with him - ready to tidy up the very few remaining hairs - and, like me, his deep passion for perfumes.

It is therefore this genetic inheritance, this sober but intrinsically elegant and timeless style of my grandfather, that I unconsciously refer to in all my creations.

 

IT ALL STARTED WITH A REFUSAL:

After collaborating with a rather internationally famous designer, I understand what I don't want to be. I want to escape from the less than excellent fabrics too often used in the world of high fashion and from colors that are too bright because I feel an irresistible call towards a more sober and more refined elegance.

The turning point came in 2019 when I decided to contact a famous luxury brand to propose myself as a brand ambassador. I saw my vision and passion aligning perfectly with their world, confident that we would create something extraordinary. The answer, however, is a polite but firm "NO".

Initially, this rejection overwhelms me, but disappointment soon gives way to burning determination. I think: “If I'm not enough for them, I will create a better brand, a brand that exceeds all expectations!”.

I therefore pour all my energy into a personal project, a bold ambition: to give life to a more luxurious, exclusive and artisanal clothing line, entirely made in Italy. I want a brand that dresses people, but above all makes them feel unique and impeccable.

This is how my line was born, a true hymn to simple elegance, created with artisan workmanship and precious materials.  Each garment is a work of high fashion to wear with attention to every single detail to offer an unprecedented sartorial experience.

Looking back on my journey today, I am grateful for that rejection. It was the catalyst that pushed me to dare, to create something truly unique and mine.
